Udine

UDINE     is to be found on the wide plain of the River Tagliamento, situated 113 m above sea level.  Its origins are probably Roman.

It is an ideal City to visit lots of monuments above all it is dominated by the castle which stands on a hill, at the foot of which, is Piazza della Liberta’, where there are many interesting buildings.  Near here is also the Cathedral (Duomo).

Udine is a very busy business centre with links to Croatia and Austria.
